Miss Emily is sure developing a personality. She just realized that the sounds coming out of her mouth she is actually the one making them...as a result she now speaks to us as LOUD as she can...cracks us up. I think Emily is going to be a lot like her daddy, laid back. On the other hand when it comes to certain other things like eating she is going to be like me impatient. Ben and I are just having so much fun watching our little one grow and develop. I count my blessings everyday that I have the opportunity to stay home with her and help nurture her into a little girl.
My friends Sue, Bruin and their little boy Ewan came to visit us over the long weekend. How fun it is to see them and see how much Ewan has changed. It definitely opened my eyes to how much we have to do to baby proof our house and how much Emily will change over this year. The little boy I saw back in August who pretty much just drooled is now walking with a little help, eating real food (well some makes it into his mouth and not on the floor), and getting into everything especially anything dealing with technology (he is like his dad). Sue and Bruin even baby sat for us while Ben and I enjoyed a nice dinner out. The real fun was that Sue and I had a chance to talk about our lives....can you believe we both have kids...??
